If you’ve been waiting for the perfect reason to dive into one of the best Persona titles, this is it. Atlus has officially confirmed that Persona 3 Reload, a full remake of the legendary PS2 RPG, is finally making its way to the Switch 2. The announcement came during today’s Nintendo Direct partner showcase, and the best part? It’s dropping soon: October 23, with both physical and digital editions hitting the shelves.
“Persona 3 Reload, the from-the-ground-up remake of the original PS2 RPG, is coming to Switch 2.”
What remains unclear for now is whether this version will include The Answer, the post-game chapter featuring the fan-favorite android Aigis. The footage shared only highlighted the core storyline, but more details are expected once pre-orders open later today.
Switch-Ready and Perfect for On-the-Go Play
I originally experienced Persona 3 on the PS Vita through the Portable version and absolutely loved it. Later, when I played Reload on the PS5, I kept thinking how great it would be to have it on a handheld again, something I could enjoy in bed or during travel. These long-form RPGs truly shine when you can play them anywhere, without being glued to a TV.
This Might Be the Best Way to Experience It
We’ve already seen Persona 5 Royal find a comfortable home on the Switch, and it made grinding through hours of story so much easier.
